Sabrina Rashidi, MSW, RSW

Sabrina is a Registered Social Worker and mother of two children. She completed her Master of Social Work in 2011 and currently provides in-person and virtual psychotherapy services. Sabrina is specialized in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and completed the Perinatal Mental Health Advanced Psychotherapy training through Postpartum Support International. She has experience in a variety of social work settings such as primary care where she provides counselling and psychotherapy services for a range of mental health issues. She also developed and facilitated various treatment groups for patients with anxiety and depression symptoms. Her experience provides her with a diverse range of therapeutic skills that inform her work in private practice. Sabrina uses a collaborative approach and integrates various models of psychotherapy that have research and evidence to support their efficacy such as acceptance and commitment therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and cognitive processing therapy for PTSD. She provides services to individuals for a variety of issues, but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, parental burnout, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, birth trauma, grief and loss, and post-traumatic stress disorder. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of Sabrina’s practice. She strives to create a warm and inviting environment to help clients feel seen and understood. Sabrina provides services in English for adults and youth ages 16+.
