Rooted Family Wellness Centre (RFWC) is a multidisciplinary clinic that provides quality holistic health, fitness, and educational services while creating a space of belonging for conceiving, pregnant, and postnatal families in Kanata. The team at RFWC provides a caring support system for families so that they can achieve their optimum health and lay a strong foundation for their future.

RFWC offers holistic healthcare services (naturopathic, osteopath, chiropractor, psychotherapy, massage therapist, pelvic floor therapist, nutritionist, lactation consultant, acupuncturist), movement classes (yoga, fitness, pilates), mental health counselling and other classes (childbirth preparation, nutrition, breastfeeding, introduction to solids, etc). This combination of services under one roof allows for clients to become aware of the other services and support available to them. Building community is central to the business model and our space allows for clients to build connections with other families in the region. 

We are looking for friendly, dedicated and motivated individuals to join our multidisciplinary team! RFWC is seeking an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who is passionate about supporting parents and families in their fertility, pregnancy and postnatal journeys. 

We are offering a competitive split (to be discussed with applicants) and are hiring on a part-time basis with the potential to expand to full-time hours. There are available in-person hours from Monday through Saturday, so scheduling is flexible based on room availability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (DOMP) with at least 1-2 years of experience specializing in fertility, prenatal and postnatal care (including infants and children) is an asset 
  • Registered in good standing through a professional Osteopathic Organization for private insurance billing
  • Proof of valid liability/malpractice insurance
  • Attend to clients through a variety of osteopathic techniques such as Soft Tissue Techniques, Muscle Energy Technique, Craniosacral Osteotherapy, Myofascial Release Therapy, Articular Techniques while bringing your expertise
  • Extremely professional and dedicated and provide kind and sympathetic communication with patients
  • Desire to work in a holistic team atmosphere
  • Great time management and organizational skills
  • Networking abilities to promote RFWC services and programs

DETAILS:

  • Location: Kanata, Ontario 
  • Job Type: Independent Contractor
  • Part-time hours: 16-25 per week  
  • Expected start date: As soon as possible
