Breastfeeding/Infant Feeding Support

Alanna Robinson is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with a passion for supporting families through pregnancy and the postpartum period. With over five years of experience in maternal and newborn care, as well as pediatric nursing, Alanna brings a clinical, evidence-based perspective to her lactation practice while recognizing that every family’s feeding journey is unique.

Alanna’s approach is grounded in compassionate, non-judgmental care. She believes parents deserve to feel informed and supported in their feeding decisions. Whether preparing for breastfeeding, navigating challenges in the early days, pumping, or combination feeding, Alanna meets families where they are and works alongside them to support their individual goals.

Alanna holds an Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and a Diploma in Practical Nursing from Algonquin College.

Alanna believes that access to knowledgeable infant-feeding support is an important part of preventive healthcare. Her goal is to create a safe space where families feel heard, empowered, and confident as they find their own path through infant feeding and parenthood.

Outside of work, Alanna enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, practicing yoga, and tending to her growing vegetable garden. She loves being active and connecting with nature.
