Compassionate Postpartum Care & Support

The postpartum period is a time of significant change. Alongside caring for a newborn, parents are often navigating physical recovery, emotional adjustment, and an entirely new daily rhythm.

The transition into parenthood can feel overwhelming, emotional, and exhausting. Rooted Beginnings was created to support families during the postpartum period with compassionate, personalized care that supports both practical day-to-day needs and emotional wellbeing.

Our collaborative care model combines hands-on, in-home postpartum support from a trained Postpartum Wellness Practitioner with ongoing clinical guidance, support, and care planning from a Registered Social Worker specializing in perinatal mental health.

Families searching for postpartum doula support often appreciate our integrated approach that combines practical in-home care with professional mental health support.

Together, we support families through postpartum recovery, newborn adjustment, postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, and the many emotional and practical challenges that can arise during early parenthood.

Serving Ottawa, Kanata & Surrounding Areas

We provide in-home postpartum support in Ottawa, Kanata, Orleans and surrounding communities, helping families feel supported during the early weeks and months after birth.

A Personalized Postpartum Support Plan

Families begin with an Initial Assessment with our Registered Social Worker to discuss their postpartum experience, goals, and support needs. From there, we create an individualized care plan designed to support your family in a way that feels practical, nurturing, and responsive.

Ongoing in-home visits and regular clinical check-ins with a Registered Social Worker allow support to evolve as your needs change throughout the postpartum journey.
