This postpartum fitness series is designed to help moms and birth givers to restore strength and mobility in a baby-friendly environment.
This 6-week series will focus on incorporating upper body, lower body and cardiovascular strengthening in a safe, progressive and effective way. Training the body in a functional way will help strengthen movements we do on a daily basis (such as bending, lifting, reaching, twisting), as well as kick-start your postpartum health and fitness journey.
Starting with the basics, we want to ensure proper form and activation throughout each movement, before progressing to the next session. The last part of each session will focus on restoring the core by learning how to properly engage and strengthen key muscles for postpartum recovery.
This is a great class for any fitness level and at any stage of the postpartum period after about the 6-week mark (a pre-assessment questionnaire will be sent to you after registration).

Dr. Sarah Bernhardt is passionate about living a healthy and balanced lifestyle and helping others reach their health goals. She delivers patient-centred care with a hands-on approach to help restore proper movement, provide pain relief and help prevent future injuries. Dr. Bernhardt treats and manages a variety of conditions with a special interest in women’s health. She supports women during the pre and post-natal periods, performing pelvic adjustments and other techniques to help women feel their best during their pregnancy journey. Dr. Bernhardt provides pediatric care as well, treating newborns and children.
