About Us:
Rooted Family Wellness Centre is a heart-centred community space supporting families through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. We offer integrative wellness services and programs in a calm and welcoming environment. We are passionate about nurturing connection, care, and compassion — for both our clients and our team.  

Position Overview:
We are looking for a warm, organized, and reliable Receptionist to join our team and be the friendly face that welcomes families into our Centre. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping others, can multitask with ease, and takes pride in maintaining a calm, clean, and inviting space.

We are needing someone with availability ideally four evenings a week (Mon-Thurs) from 3:45 - 8:00 PM and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Compenstaion will be $18/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients with warmth and professionalism as they arrive for appointments and classes
  • Manage client check-in and check-out processes
  • Schedule and modify appointments using our booking system (Jane – experience is a bonus!)
  • Process payments accurately and provide receipts when needed
  • Provide general support to practitioners and instructors as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, common areas, and studio space
  • Manage light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, tidying treatment rooms, and general upkeep of the Centre
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and client inquiries in a friendly and timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous reception or customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with Jane App or other booking software is a strong asset
  • Comfortable using Gsuite tools , social media and learning new systems
  • Kind, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment
  • A passion for supporting families and a genuine interest in holistic wellness
