hOT topics:

This series of varying topics lead by an occupational therapist is for parents and caregivers who would like to learn more about general developmental milestones in a variety of different areas and explore ways to support progression toward these. This interactive and educational in-person series will also be an opportunity to connect with other families and explore development together. Sign up for the age range and topics that best suit your family!

Motor Milestones 6 to 12 months:

Learn about the progression of gross and fine motor skills during this period of development and ideas on how to support these with your baby.

Melissa Belcher, OT

Melissa communicates from a place of empathy, connection, and understanding to help families build strong foundations from which they can grow and thrive. She believes that a collaborative team approach is essential to providing the best support to children and their families. She views families as experts on their children and needs and her role as a guide in co-creating strategies that will help families progress toward their goals and allow their children to participate as optimally as possible in the things they want or need to do each day. She is passionate about using a strength-based lens and solution- focused communication approaches in her work.
